The Application site is located between Carsphairn (approximately 11 km to the southwest) and Sanquhar (approximately 12.3 km to the northeast). New Cumnock is located approximately 10.5 km to the north. The Application comprises of up to 10 turbines, each with a ground to blade tip height of up to 200 m within Dumfries and Galloway, and ancillary development required to construct and operate the generating station. The proposed Development would have an indicative generating capacity of 64 megawatts and an operational life of 35 years.
